Insurance for mods and rockers

Insurance for Mods..etc

Just delared my forthcomming mods to insurance company BEFORE work is done. OK, so I was rather aprehensive about doing it, thinking the cost was going to ruin the excitement of the mods. BUT increse in premium of £8:20 pre year Eight pounds Twenty Pence!!

Janspeed Manifold, Cone Filter, Miltek cat back for the S

TO say I am pleased about the call is an understatement!

I just decleared my de-cat manifold on my works cooper s convertible & it was an additional £7 Per year with Adrian Flux. that now makes it £308 per year with a £250 excess protected no claims & legal cover. 36 years old with full no claims.

4 years NCB 42, was 420/year. Live in a road that get alot of insurance claims!!! A primary school 100 yds away. kids think its funny to scratch cars. also in recent years a disproportionate number of druggies moved into the area, so lots of car break ins.

When i move i expect premium to drop.

I am with NIG through adrian flux.

Lohen: Ive taken the day off work Monday, It was hearing yours that made my mind up as to where to start withthe mods.

Ive got most of the day to brood on it, so may end up with a surprise package.

ps good to see on here that you got your MINI sorted pretty sharpish. I was 2 mins from home when you rang... ( cut short the lights at gynn, tea on table etc......... )
