Insurance advice please?

Hello...

Just after a bit of insurance advice, wondering where would be cheapest/best. I find all this insurance malarkey a bit confuddling!!!

I'm a 30yr old (well, almost 30!) female and I'll be driving a cooper with chili pack (no snazzy extras...yet!) I am currently driving a company leased Golf but am changing job and losing the lease car.
I used to be with Tesco when I had my little punto (before getting the lease car), but they said cos I've not used my NCD for over two years that I lose that...

I've had the lease car for the last two years and although my work will write me a letter, it's not really going go count for much as I had an at-fault accident in February, so I'm sure it will prevent any discounts. I've also got an outstanding claim that is unresolved but isn't my fault at all, as my car was parked up at the time and someone ran into it!

I don't know what to do!!

Any good companies to try?

Thanks lots...

Try Adrian Flux, normally they are good for Modified MINI's but I think as they are a broker have special deals with lots of diff companies.

People will always will tell you whichs is best.. In reality, you have to find out for yourself.

for example.. My niece swears by directline (shes 23 2YNCD and drives a Saxo VTR) , but for me they are ALWAYS expensive! (im 35 FNCD and its MORE expensive for a VTR work THAT one out)

I CAN recommend GREENLIGHT Insurance tho.

Might be worth having a look at Cheap Car Insurance: Get nearly 120 quotes with fast, powerful cost cutting system.... I was in a similar position to you a few months ago with no NCD. For me the cheapest quote by far was from Lancaster Insurance (Lancaster Insurance Services - Classic Car Quick Quote)

Good luck.

Bell Direct are good with drivers with No/Low NCB, although they are not good with optional extras I am led to believe. There is another thread somewhere that goes over that though.
