Hello all, my daughter decided to phone Direct Line today to tell them she had had a milltek cat back system fitted to her mini one recently.
They charged her £47 and I thought this was excessive.
Has anyone else had a charge similar to this for an exhaust upgrade and am I right or is this the norm?

My insurance company (MINI Cover - UK Insurance Ltd.) rejected the notion when I requested a quote for fitting an uprated exhaust system... they're such killjoys.

Even though I'm 24 and have 6 years no claims bonus.

By comparison, I'd be happy with a £47 quote.

Perhaps others who have actually fitted uprated exhausts can be a bit more helpful than me though.
