Insurance for 2 cars

I'm toying with the idea of getting a second car (an MR2 Roadster), but I'm not sure how I should go about insuring a second car. Adrian Flux who insure my Cooper S don't offer a 2 car policy like some other companies do. I tried to get through to speak to someone about the cost of insuring a second car but got cuff off while I was waiting (typical).

I could do a limited mileage insurance on the MR2 as it won't do as many miles as the Cooper S.

Anyone have any advice?

Got a cracking quote from Admiral "multi car" We've got a 2.0 Tdi Touran sport DSG which we were paying £360 fully comp from Liverpool Victoria. Admiral will do the Touran and my Cooper together for £380 fully comp with legal cover and protected no claims etc. However, myself and the missus are in late 30's with 10 years no claims which I guess helps hell of a lot

I'm with Admiral and looking to get me and the burd on this 2 policy and it does knock off even more than getting it separately but I need to check out what happens in the event one of us has an accident ( touch wood we don't ), will this affect the overall policy?

admiral quoted us £380 online for our clubman and almera, fully comp, protected ncb, etc.
but when we phoned, they added on the insurance tax, easy payment interest, extra cos we have the chilli pack etc, and this brogut the total to over £500, so be careful.

mind you, it was still £120 cheaper than last year( liverpool victoria)

Clubbin' it and Lovin' it

How do you lot get such good deals???

I've a R56 JCWMCS and a 1991 Honda Beat that only does 1000 miles/yr and I pay just over £1000 for the privilege.

Seems reasonable until I point out that I'm 43 with 26 claim free years.

That seems excessively high, I assume you've tried a price comparison site? I got my quotes through moneysupermarket.com

United-Kingdom Admiral for 2 cars

I have been quoted by Admiral for my Dooper Chili and Merc SLK350 - £540 fully comp, NC protected + legal.
However, I did get separate quotes from Liverpool Victoria of £186 Dooper and £270 SLK.

So looks like LV is going to get my business, but through Quidco - The web's cashback cooperative to get £75 cach back as well.
