Bell Insurance?

Hi

My insurance is up for renewal soon and I have been looking on the net for quotes. Have a few mods JCW bodykit, alloys, etc.

At the moment Bell Insurance are coming out the cheapest at around £370.

Just wanted to know if anyone uses Bell Insurance and whether or not they have had any problems.

Thanks

im with them never had many issues until i came to change my isurance over and they have treated me like crap tbh.
The first thing that went wrong was i did a qoute online 1300 quid ok ill take it its say call us to arrange monthly payments so i did.
What shock on phone i got when they tell me i cant have it at that its going to be over 2k, so 1 hour later after all the arguing and excuses that they the final was the reason is more expensive is becuase they charge extra for monthly payment. Ok fair enough but not 500 quid more you dont then the excuses changed to its discounted online my reply was is says nothing there wich it doesnt it just asks me to ring to set up monthly and so on.
I eventually got its sorted at the price i wanted on flexi bell fully comp with window screen cover , legal cover and drive other cars.

It now continues 1 and half months later i finaly get my cover note to find no window screen no legal not driver other cars on there, so i ring up to go to there indian call centre who had played hell with becuase ive been using my nans car unisured.
All i got was sorry but your policy is now in term i cant change it they say, 2 hours on the phone that day to get nothing out of them speaking to god knows how many ppl that cant seem to understand how serious there little **** up could of been and to get told theres nothing they can do.
Tried to cancel had a 30 minute argument about that because they wanted charge me finaly got them the get rid of the charged did a another quote with them to restart and got the whole 2k insurance saga again so i had to leave it as ill lose out on my 3rd years ncb its up october but i wont be with them again.

I aint the only person who has had the price issues and cover note problems with them but as normal they blame the post office.
3 people i know have had to ring up to get cover notes as they havnt got them and ive had to do it 3 times now also so i wouldnt shift the blame to the post office they aint that bad every insurance company manages it.

The choice is yours but i wouldnt use them again now ive spent about 6k insurance with them since ive started driving and i know im young and its an expensive do with young idiots for them , i still expect to get a dam good service for money and the fact ive been with them named for a year and 2 years on my own policy with no claims it seems like all the companys want to milk the fact im young get the money and then hold out on giving me service i deserve, ive lost all faith in them now with all the issues ive had i wonder if they would even pay out if crashed my car i know they take my £950 excess quick enough tho.

I appolagise for my grammer if anyone has trouble reading but im not very literate.

Thanks Anthony

After reading the probs you have had with Bell, I am having second thoughts. I am thinking I'm prob better off biting the bullet, pay a little more and stay with my current insurance company.

its up to your self had few issues all being simliar since i renewed my policy. Been with them 3 years but ive never made a claim on anything so i dont know how good they would br regards making a claim. As i said i couldnt trust them to pay out for a £7750 mini now if crashed it and had to claim if they cant even sort out i mistake as little as extensions.
Still waiting for a phone call a week later from the cs centre to call me to say have listend to the call and there going to correct it.

I am currently with more than, I have had a claim through them with no hiccups or excuses. I know they are not the cheapest. cheapest doesnt mean better. Remember the saying you pay for what you get. Also double check what the excess is, if you want a cheaper insurance then up the excess, if you want a lower excess expect a higher premium.

With more than you can request your own personal customer consultant

good luck on your choice
