Offline | I too am ancient (but still as sexy as ever) and am paying £379 to Churchill insurance. I have loads of no claims years (touch wood) and Churchill are fab to deal with. I probably drive my MCS a bit slower and safer than 'younger' drivers but I still love it. |

| MINI2 Regular | Mini Insurance way too expensive!! Just got some quotes. Adrian Flux were over £300 CHEAPER than MINI Insurance!! 36, 3 years NCB, Fault Accident 2 years ago, 3 points 3 years ago, rural area, driveway parking, Business use. Wife - 3 points 4 years ago. MINI Insurance - £990 - £400 XS Adrian Flux - £680 (with Royal/Sun Alliance) £350 XS What intrigued me was that MINI wanted to know all the factory fit extras to determine the premium. Adrian Flux just wanted total value of car. One key difference was replacement car (MINI) v. book value for car (A.Flux) if its written off. However MINI Shortfall Insurance is £305 for 2 years (my Finance period), so even if I take this out I'm still better off by £150 per year, and can get a brand new S if the worst happens... |

Offline | Elephant.co.uk Sadly the company with the worlds most annoying ad come up with the lowest quote (I f***ing hate that elephant!) 30 years old accident 2 years ago but protected NCB of 5+ years No points (amazingly!) Cooper S (chili) value £17,500 Parked in the drive in centre of Maidstone £490!!!!!! MINI insurance wanted £980 others ranged between £550-£1000 Interstingly if you happen to be a girly (which I'm not, but my fiance is) Diamond seem to be able to beat Elephant by about 5% on most quotes I have a suspicion they maybe in league. So thats Elephant.co.uk..............elephant.co.uk........ ....eleph.................. God I hate that ad! Matblack www.kaesminiclub.com - For runs and meets all over Kent and East Sussex! |
