it depends alot where you live.,my gf (21) has 4 year NCB but lives in SW london and manchester..pays 800 fully comp with full uk breakdown cover on her 06 mini cooper (120bhp)
i have a modified ibiza (im 21 as well) running 180bhp with various other bits and pieces, with 2 years NCB and 9 points and pay 950 fully comp and uk breakdown cover..but registered addy is in exeter (where i live...sometimes)

Im 19, female and have an 05 one D, my first year cost me £850ish, 2nd year (after a 10month no claims booster) £650, and 3rd year £500.
Im a named driver with my mum and her boyfriend under other drivers, and i say i only do 5000 miles a year.

Heyy, im 18 at the moment, and got my first mini cooper when i was 17. My insurance was 1,600 then i brought a new mini and now i have one years no claims my insurance for my mini cooper is now only £1000 ! Im with admiral i got a renewal quote through the post and they tried to charge me £2000 but i rang them up and they got it down to £1000 hope that helps ! x

They are a brokers firm but through them i was able to get cover from Aviva who refused to insure me on there own website. They gave me there offer of 2 months free insurance which when your paying £150 a month is a real nice saving. My total policy was £1400 which was very cheap for this car, so i recommend anyone young checking out that site.
