Silver Black Mini Select - is this a good deal?

I've been to BMW and talked about purchasing a MINI Cooper S, 2007 for around £12,000. We've talked about financing, and the Select option seems to be the best. Although I'd like to share a few things, see if this is a good deal on the APR, etc.

I suggested a few numbers, and they came back with a suggested deal of:

Deposit: £5,000
Monthly payments: £160 over 36 months is £5,760
Final cost: £5,000 (Roughly)

That's with their "offer" of 12% APR, and I'm hoping to haggle them down to around 11% as I know for a fact that branches such as the Westerly Mini are doing 11.2%.

Any suggestions on this? Is it better to put less of a deposit?

Thanks, really appreciate any feedback

I just got BMW finance option;
£2500 deposit
£202.59 48 months + final £4021 payment

That is for 2007 Dooper that costs £11,450

Works out more than standard loan but you get payment insurance benefits.

Check for lowest loan you can find, atm Sainsburies do loans up to 10k for 7.7% get a quote and take it to your dealer they will try and beat it also check Money Saving Expert: Consumer Revenge - Credit Cards, Shopping, Bank Charges, Cheap Flights and more good way to find cheapest loans
