Has anyone financed through Mini recently and at what percentage did they offer? How long is the loan? Thanks

I financed my MCS through BMW and got an apr of 5.25% for 60 months although I will pay it off in about 6 months when(keep your fingers crossed) the market rebounds about 10% more.

I financed my BMW through BMW Financial and have done the same with my MINI (MINI financial is just another name for BMW financial). I'm only 24, so I didn't get a good rate, but I've had nothing but good experiences with the customer service. When I was out of the country and ended up making a late payment, they were nice enough to remove it from my credit report as a courtesy. They have always been polite and up-front, which is far more than I can say for most banks.

Seeing this I wish now I'd pushed for more. I had an internet bank quote of 7.1% APR and asked my dealer to match that which they did. Service was excellent and setting up the loan was painless.

Yeah, but the other guys are in America and over there it's a whole lot different.

I don't know how their method of quoting a percentage compares with the APR we have over here, but American loans always have a numerically lower percentage. Whether that's like for like, I don't know.

In any case, their base interest rate is much lower than ours.

I think the rate you got is about as good as it gets in the country. I wouldn't be unhappy with that.

I got the 5.25% percentage rate because of a good credit record and that BMW finance matched an offer I had with my credit union.

Nope MINI Finance didn't even come close to the 4.45% APR my bank offered.

You're quite right, I hadn't taken any notice of the location

My exact situation, 5.25 competive match to the CU.

GMINI03, we're still waiting on the name of that bank, what a rate!.

btw, 5.25% is the APR. Must be differences in the banking industries on either side of the pond.

Try these guys out: http://www.peoplefirst.com/pff/default_2.cfm?d=1

They advertise 4.5%, and 4.99 for 60 months. Of course your credit rating determines the exact rate.

Sorry had a long meeting at work and ouldn't escape to log onto MINI2 till I got home. I use Chase bank. The rate is partially because we're a preferred customer (have a home equity loan through them, 2 savings accounts, 2 checking accounts and when my bar was still open all my business banking was also through them ... pays to keep using one source)

<welp> I financed $20,000 for 60 months and got 7.5%. That was back in August and the rates have got better since then. Its all based on your credit score though.
