Hartge - Insurance

Have any of you lucky guys who have had this conversion any idea by what percentage their gross or net premiums increased and what this means in terms of money?

Are you reasonably happy with this?

Dunno what effect it'll have on residuals, have you?

(waiting for JCW, to compare)

It looks like a few people on here have had their quotes increase by around £400 / year mate.

HardTimes, thanks, did you notice a real difference in performance? Great, I'll bet!

Well, I believe it's excellent... but I only have a Cooper and first need to get an S, then the Hartge upgrade...

Evo magazine have an article on it and they also gave the car 5 stars!

Time for some car swapping I think

My insurance rose by about £200 from £560 to £750 approx, £200 very well spent I might add. For performance changes go to another thread ( Hartge 212-215bhp ) there you will find most of what you would want to know.

Thanks. Seems reasonable. Nothing to scary. Enjoy.
