Insurance with track day cover?

Can anyone recommend an insurance company who will provide fully comp insurance with track day cover?

My girlfriend is looking to renew the insurance on her S, she’s currently insured with elephant, they are quite reasonable but won’t cover track days.

Try Adrian Flux 08700 777 888 or www.adrianflux.co.uk . They should be able to sort you out. To be honest you're probably better off getting insurance and paying for one off track day insurance on the days you require it. Unless you planning on taking it on the track every day.

It was acceptable in the 80's

We did consider separate track day cover but can be rather expensive, I get free track day cover on my TVR so thought if we find a company who will do the same for the MINI even if the premium was a bit higher it would still be worth it in the long run.

I've got an excellent quote from Axa - didn't ask about track days but they said yes to pretty much everything! Might be worth a try. Let me know if you have any joy please! I'm taking my little Works to Goodwood in February!

Do you have a number for Axa?

I’m going to Goodwood on Saturday to watch one on the guys from Pistonheads in his S, unfortunately I won’t be out this time.

Apparently Jane’s tried Axa and they wouldn’t insure under 25’s.

What’s your PH log in?

Red Rocket.

Have you tried Mini Cover? Or try www.its4me.co.uk - they (I think) specialise in young people with sports cars - might be worth a try. Again, Good Luck!

Ah yes, I’ve seen you on there, I’m Paul V, are you coming the next VW meet in Feb.?

I’ll try its4me, most people are saying no to track days, so elephant seem to be the best price for normal fully comp.

Its 22nd Feb at Virginia Waters, there’s a link here http://www.pistonheads.com/members/c...nt.asp?id=3091

I should be in the Griff but depends how its going, its got a bit of a misfire at the moment which I need to sort out but hopefully it should be done by then.

Good stuff

Unlikely that we’ll take the Mini as well, although the southern mini owners club were planning to come along so will be a few there.

It’s Jaguar racing green, it should be a good meet, last one had plenty of TVR’s, Ferrari’s and Porsches, even a Diablo turned up.
