Insurance for the S

I'am 23, I have ordered the S but only just thought of insurance.
Is there anyone out there that has had a quote thats about my age.
Or any insurance companys worth ringing.
I used to pay £2500 for a Clio 172 (but it was worth it).

Insurance for an "S"

Norwich Union will definately quote - 23 yr old living in Leicester LE10 - 3 yrs NCD - £1850-ish with a £270 excess. Extra discounts for garaging the car, increased XS, security etc.

Also try them direct above is a quote from a broker) as it may well be cheaper.

I'd try BMW themselves........cheapest quote I've had so far, AND they only use BMW approved repairers if you stack it !!

I'm stunned at the cost of your premiums.

I agree with Basil, Mini Insurance has been the cheapest so far. Other companies hear the word supercharger and go "no thanks".

Im 23 with 0 claims, and I was quoted AUD$1900, which is about 750 pound. Now I dont know too much about insurance in other parts of the world, but I was really impressed with this price. It was also for agreed value of AUD$53,000.

Hope this helps!

I know I'm ancient at 38 but me and wife with tesco...£398

(was only £497 on the 330i cabrio Sport)

Tracker and garaged at night helps a lot to reduce your premium.

Im 37, fully comp for wife and me.......€660.00, around £360.00 sterling........exact same for Cooper and One!! I was amazed by that, but I hope they dont change their minds !!

Any difference in One, Cooper, and S insurance costs in UK and elsewhere ??

I called my insurance company today for a quote, and learned I was only the second person to insure a Cooper S with my company (a relatively large company in the U.S. with 4.8 million members).

They quoted me $630 per year. I found it quite reasonable. Granted, I'm middle-aged with a clean driving record. But it's only $30/year more than either of my other two vehicles.

Do you mean another $630 on top of what you're already paying for the other two cars?
