Question Insurance Cost - From Cooper To Cooper Cabrio..

Hi again friends!

Another question from me!

I just wondered what the rough insurance difference is (in cost) from Cooper to Cooper Cabrio?

I am a current Cooper (Chili) owner and pick my Cooper Cabrio (Chili) up in a month.

I know the "incurance group" difference, but I just wondered if it was a massive difference in what I'd have to pay? I asked my insurance company but they can only give me what it will cost for the remainder of my term and not a full year!

Your feedback would be really appreciated, especially if you've made the same change!

Dean

Happy to help...

I changed from a Cooper to Cooper Conv last August. My insurance increased by about 12% (and that was with a new set of 3 points for speeding! Ooop! )

Ah well, its so easy to get carried away in a MINI!!

So really the increase is quite small would you agree?

Thanks!

I must admit I was pleasantly suprised.

I'll also admit I've since picked up another 3 points!!!

I really must visit my doctor, I'm sure my right foot is too heavy....

Serious point - I wonder what would happen if you tried to appeal against your points if this was the case!!??
