| Next Generation MINI Has anyone heard about whether the CVT will be in the next generation MINI with the new turbocharged BMW-Peugeot engine?  |

| I think the word is they will have the CVT in the MINI, but not in the turbo model. It will be in the model which will still have 115 hp, same hp as the current CVT MINI. The new engine will have more usable torque throughout the rpm range and a lot more low end torque though, so should be quicker off the line, but we will have to wait and see how it performs. | My quess is that they will start using the regular 6-speed auto in the Cooper turbo models. The CVT may remain in de non-turbo versions for reasons of economy. Black / Whte Cooper |
