All first gen auto Coopers had the CVT. I'm hazy on it but I think the paddles were an option with the CVT after 03. All auto MCS have paddles.

None of the CVT's came with paddles - only the A/W in the MCS.

None of the CVT's prior to 05 came with paddles.
They became available at the same time the S was available with the Auto. It was an extra cost item in some areas. Global market and options vary.

Last month I traded in my 2005 MCSa for a 2006 MCS. I like the manual transmission much better.

Has anybody got the spesifications for this gearbox in reference to max torque and bhp handling.
