| So I picked up my MC '05 in Jan 2005. I've had very few problems with it. I had the passenger speaker problem that I took to the dealer twice to fix. Both times they couldn't "duplicate" the noise. They were useless so I just fixed myself with help from you guys on the forum. The NEXT problem is one I haven't read about yet. Everytime I break at low speeds I get a clicking noise. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the brake pad sliding inside the caliper. They said its ok, but is that really safe? So far the brakes have been great. The LAST thing is I took my Mini in for an unscheduled oil change yesterday and they said they saw some fluid underneath the car. They didn't have time inspect further, but I'm bringing it back on Monday. They think it could just be something simple or something real complex. Any similar problems? Thanks |

| Update! Had my MC looked at by Moritz Mini in Arlington, TX (the best service I've encountered) and the minor leak had something to do with the seal between the engine and the transmission. They said that probably during construction the seal was "pinched". Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know. |
