Side lights flashing on ignition

Only just noticed that when the car starts the side lights flash just a tiny bit.

You have to look really carfully to see it.

Is this standerd or something at fault with the lights?

Do you have LED sidelight bulbs?

I've never noticed mine do it before (on normal bulbs ) but soon as i put in LED bulbs they flash as i start up.

Plus they light up very faintly soon as i unlock the car and even if i open a door.

If they are LED's and they do flash, i would take them out, they MAY (and I say MAY) cause your body (or summat) computer to crash. I have had this experiance before in my last mini.

No, the bulbs are all standard. From what i can see it is just the right hand side of the car doing it.

flashing lights

I noticed mine do it when the car is turned on. Seems to be a diagnostic checking things. I have the regular brake lights, and also LED brake lights in my fog light position. It is obvious on the LED lights, and if it is dark, just barely perceptible on the regular lights.

They flash more than once.
