Thumbs down Rear Washer Jet not working !! NOW FIXED !! 5.11.05

Have searched and found lots of posts, but not any fixes !! My rear washer has stopped working, checked the nozzle, thats OK. Looked on my parts CD Rom and it appears that there is a Non Return Valve fitted. Has anyone had any similar problems, and have they been fixed ?? Thanks in anticipation, regards Damian.

Thumbs up Fixed !!

Decided to strip out the rear and find what was wrong. Removed the motor assembly and found that the tube which runs through the motor, onto which the nozzle bit clips onto was gunked up with muck (rusty coulour) Cleaned and refitted now works fine, hope this may be of help to others !! Regards Damian.

exactly the same has happened to mine, I'm disappointed that the nozzle thingy is heavily rusted, how long before a more major (expensive) repair???

Yes i was thinking the same, i think it could be the water sitting in the tube when not being used. Maybe worth giving the rear washer a quick blast once a week to help keep the water fresh.
