England Mini SunVisor thing - waste of time!

What is the point in designing and manufacturing something that is meant to serve a purpose if it doesnt completely do the job!

Is it that hard to make it fit flush against the screen rather than leaving a gaping gap to one side which usually is where the sun is beaming?????

arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrse!

Anyone else wana join me on this roomy soapbox?

yep you need some of these - they might look like the ones you see on coaches but actually they are no bigger than the standard visors, but they are much more adjustable & cover the screen more effectively http://www.rosenvisor.com/auto/index.asp

i thought that when i saw them but fitted they work & look a treat. they are infinately adjustable in any direction, plus the visor slides inboard & outboard on a dovetail slide. they're beautifully machined from alloy & the standard grey lens matches the interior perfectly

since that visor thing is tinted and not opaque, how glary is it when the sun is directly shining through?

you do still get some glare if the sun is very strong, you still need sunglasses but they can be bought in varying degrees of tint
