| My wife's 53reg 12000 mile MC has just developed want can only be described as a floppy gearstick, it still changed gear OK and so on but the stick lacked any bias springing when pulled to the right. She took it to the dealer yesterday and they suggested it was a faulty cable and needed repair immediately, it was returned today with a new gearbox and very little explanation for the reason for the replacement .Has anybody else had a similar problem and is there something the dealers not telling us. |
