what does this warning light mean at work so no manual

Hi my wife has just emailed me the following -

I had to pull over on the shoulder as a yellow warning light came on! I must put the manuals in the car so I can look up these things! I turned everything off as I pulled over (had a lot of heat on) and thought I would just let the car sit for 5 minutes. So I did and turned on the engine again and no light. So drove carefully on.

It was the 2nd to the last light on the dash (that half circle of warning lights) and was yellow. The symbol is a little like a filament with a ! in the middle.

Could someone please let us know what light this is - so we know if it is safe to drive!!!

Cheers

Gary

Sounds to me like the Runflat Indicator, just check your tyre pressures. Nothing to worry about, mine sometimes comes on when the tyres are fine.

If the pressures are ok there should be a little button near the handbrake, with the same appearance, which I believe initialises/resets the system.

Blue Cooper Warning light

Thanks for a quick reply - and as we have the mini mobility kit it will be easy to check and top up the tyres!

Heres a little piccy of some of the lights it could be. The one on the right is the Runflat Indicator, I think the one on the left is the brakes.

Key needs to be in the ignition, too ("on" but without the engine running).

Sounds like it could also be the other (brakes?) warning light though?

Sounds like the run flat.... check the tyres and press and hold the runflat reset button for 10secs or so with the ignition on.

THe first time my son saw this: he said

"Why is the light showing someone's butt sitting on a bed of nails on?"

Now, everytime I see it,That's what I think it looks like too.
