My 02 CVT MC while driving started to shudder at the lights then stalled and wouldnt start again for ages and then made a horrible noise from the engine, after a mech looked at it he diagnose no compression in N0 1 cylinder, only 35000km, hmm further investigations will find out if it is a valve or bigger prob, will keep you posted. out of warranty.

Well have the head off now, and its not too bad, a largish piece of the plastic inlet manifold that shattered in an accident had got itself wedged in the no 1 inlet valve, how it has been in the inlet port for around 5000 km and not done anything beats me, but there you are.
So it looks like I only need a new Head gasket to put it together, the valve isnt even bent.
Phewwww!!!. Got to be lucky sometimes.

Put it all together today, started first crank and runs sweet, I think I should buy a lottery ticket.
