soft clutch?

I did a search on the forums and didn't see anything ... my MCS is at 2100 miles, and when I went to drive her today, the clutch was a lot smoother and a lot softer than usual.

A little disconcerting since I liked the crisp, firm clutch.

I remember my MA saying something about the tranny adjusting to my driving style ... is this what has happened? Or should I be more concerned? It's two hours drive to the service department, so that doesn't sound appealing unless necessary, and there aren't any fault lights ...

Did it happen suddenly or gradually over time?

suddenly ... over the weekend. I took the car for its first several-hour drive in the highway. the next morning, the clutch seemed softer ... not as much resistance as I have had.

it still engages fine. it's just a bit disconcerting becauase i was used to what it felt like. and now it feels different.

i guess if it doesn't seem to be failing, and if there's no warning light it's probably ok. just surprised by the sudden different in feel after the long trip.
