Tail gate

Good afteroon folks.

1st time doing this so please go easy.
My mini cooper s has a dodgy tail gate stricker, just wondering if this can be tightened?
And how on earth do I post a new subject?

ello - although can't answer ur question, thought i'd welcome u to M2, so that the lack of replies doesnt put u off! we're not ignoring u, just not sure of the answer

Err, could we have a little more detail in what you mean by dodgy? Adjustment and/or
tightening is possible if your description can be a little better.

You can adjust things back there, but as Steve says, we need to know what's dodgy. Is it not shutting properly, is it sticking, is it shutting but rattling once in place?

and if it's still in warranty I would suggest taking it back to the dealer. Some parts for the tail gate have been upgraded so would be changed free of charge.
