air bag light

can any body tell me how to turn off the passenger seat airbag warning light. since removing the seat and then putting it back after repair the lamp will not go out.
i have definetly reconncted the blue and yellow plugs under the seat, put still stays on.
any surgestions please

Do You No If You Can Buy A Hand Held Unit To Turn Off
Used To Be Able To Get One For The Bmw Service Lights
Fo About £30.00

None that I am aware of, if you unplugged it, the computer is seeing it as a fault and needs to be reset. Going to require a trip to the dealer to be plugged into their system.

I've read that you can reset the negative terminal of the battery for about 20 mins and then it will reset. I tried that and it did not work though!

There's no way to reset the light without a BMW scan machine. Sorry, but only the dealer (or someone with a dealer scanner) can reset this light.
