Angry Car got hit

driving home this afternoon through the centre of Bradford, in the outside of 2 lanes of traffic when the cars in front stopped, i stopped but the twunt on the scooter behind dind't. he tried to get round me but didn't make it & hit my nearside rear quarter. he stayed on the bike & rode off - i managed to catch up a couple of hundred yards later but soon as he saw me he was off through a traffic jam & i had no chance of catching him. he's left 3 separate dents & a 10" long scratch right down to the metal. the police can't do anything 'cos i didn't get his full number plate (plus the likelihood is he wasn't insured if he legged it). CCTV on the road isn't good enough resolution to record a number plate on a bike so i'm now left with a fault claim on my insurance which will knock my no claims, plus i have a £250 excess anyway which will probably cover the cost of the repair. i'm guessing its too big for a chip repair company. so now i have to chase round getting repair quotes. i'm starting to think the car is jinxed

You aint having much luck with this car, are you Pat?? As long as the metal isn't creased, it needn't be a bodyshop job - the photos dont show up too well though

Sorry about your car, can't believe irresponsible people who won't own up to their actions, when you work hard to have a nice car and they just come along and damage it and drive off. Never fear - I'm a big believer in Karma. Let's hope he falls off his scooter and scrapes all the skin off his ar5e!
