Bonnet stripes - Can I claim on warranty?

Hi Guys,

Whilst cleaning my MCS today, the high-pressure washer took a small chip out of one of my bonnet stripes.

They're factory fitted stripes so can I make a warranty claim for the damamged one.

Thanks,
Richard.

Sorry but i doubt you'll be able to make a claim for that. Its like asking them to respray the bonnet under warranty if you get a stone chip!

You could try your luck, but I think they would say it's wear n tear talking of which, never use a high pressure jet hose on your vinyl stripes etc your asking for trouble. I don't understand why peeps wash their car with megga powered jet sprays, a normal mains hose with give enough presure to clean any muck off a car before washing. If you get a chip in your paintwork a high presure spray will do a good job of stripping your paintwork along with taking your badges off etc

Cheers

Mine were installed by a MINI dealer and replacement was covered under warranty.
