Grrr ... got a really annoying rattle from behind (I think) the dash on the driver (right) side.
Seems to develop after it's warmed up a bit, and it like there's something loose that's knocking against something. Mainly noticeable over bumps, and occurs with the engine off.
Can sometimes just detect it at idle, as the vibration from the engine must set it off, though cannot hear it at all under bonnet, or outside car, sounds very much like behind dash.
Dealer heard it when she was serviced (my mini, not the dealer
) and and tech said they'd use some acoustic equip. to pin and down and said he'd fix it no problem - two weeks to wait then before she goes in and it's driving me mad, more so, as I can't locate it.
Any ideas .... It's not dash rattle (they fixed that), almost definately something loose, though why it (usually) has to warm up first is a bit odd.
Just wondering if it's the screen wash bottle banging against the bulkhead ???
