United-Kingdom MCS Conv - Water drips in from roof when window is down

Hi

Wondering if anyone could help - When raining, or after being washed, water seems to drip in when the windows are down... Does anyone else experience this problem (soft stop or hard top)???

Thanks

Xena

Yes, it's all to do with the shape of the car and the fact the gutters (on the hardtop) are pretty small.

It you look the edge of the roof is a lot further in than the edge of the door so any water that is going to drop from that area is going to end up inside the car.

It was acceptable in the 80's

It is worse on the convertible because the drain channel at the front of the roof directs water to run down the front windows, if the window isn't there it drips into the car, not a problem as such just one of the compromises that comes with a convertible
