central locking - MINI Cooper Forum

my central locking only works when locking the doors.
but it will not unlock them.
any body got any idea to the problem, thanks mick.

What do you mean by central locking?

Can you lock the doors with the key remote?
Can you lock the doors with the switch in the toggle switch panel?
Or can you only lock the doors by pushing down the button?

If the last, probably a "BC1" fault.
If the remote works but toggle doesn't, probably a toggle switch fault.

seems like door locking is a problem on passenger side, or is it something simple....any ideas
