DIY Headlight Washerjets

Got a new Mini Cooper took her for a spin the other day and used the washers/wipers which brought out the headlight jets but now they won't go back in!... Got any advice as there's nothing in the manual!

Thank you.

Mine do occasionally get stuck. They normally just push back in. Try using a little grease or WD40 maybe to loosen them up.

Thank you

Should I just push them in myself once Ive oiled them or oil and then wait to see if they go in of their own accord?

I'm sure they got stuck on has come out further but the I could just be imagining it!

Try oiling them then pushing them in. Whilst they're out it's easier to oil the mechanism. Once they're back in you wont get another chance until they get stuck again, well unless you fancy getting wet!

They should be reasonably easy to push in. If you feel any significant resistance I would advise you to take it to the dealer but hopefully you should be OK.
