| I once got a LOT of water in the fuel tank after I filled up an old SU carb car at a well known budget supermarket - but definately couldn't possibly have come out of their tanks The car behaved a lot like you described. I don't really know what would happen with fuel injection. I'm talking a gallon of water - not a few drops, but maybe yours isn't too bad. So water in the fuel tank maybe? ![]() |

| Interesting thought - I must admit to being a petrol-snob though and never use supermarket fuel... A colleague has suggested it might be a problem with the fuel pump - maybe in connection with the sudden change in pressure in the tank due to a considerable change in the volume of fuel - plausible?
