| Mini One D Head Gasket Blown Just returned from my dealer with the bad news that the head gasket is blown on my 04 one D. It initially overheated last week when I was informed that it was a cracked expansion tank which was replaced under warranty but the next day it overheated again and have been informed that as I suspected in the first place the head gasket has blown.I am concerned that they may be other damage as a result. So has anyone had a similar experience and did it have a successful conclusion. Is replacing the head gasket just dealing with symptom rather than the cause?? |
