| Popping noise under the hood? Sorry, tried to do a search on this but I absolutely suck when it comes to using the MINI2 search function for some reason, so Mods: Please feel free to move this inside a relevant established thread. This morning when I started my car I heard a strange popping sound (like popcorn) under the hood. I know the normal sound of the supercharger, but this was much more pronounced. Loud even. The PSI level seemed really high too after normal acceleration. Made it to work (popping all the way!), but concerned. Anyone else have this problem? Am I just being overly concerned about nothing? Help?  |
