boot/bonnet open light

hi folks

after picking my car up from dealers after getting a EML light problem fixed (new pressure valve?!) i drove out the carpark to realise the boot/bonnet light was on.

i pulled over thinking the bonnet was left ajar but both boot and bonnet are shut properly

went right back to the dealers who said all mechanics had gone home!! have to go back on monday. 3rd time in 1 month the car has been in!

pretty sick... especially as it is a problem caused by the dealership.

anyone know what this could be. if its simple i would rather fix it myself

ive checked the bonnet switch and it is connected and doesnt seem damaged. the lock/latch seems fine also.
