Bl**dy engine mount

... not happy, my engine mount (drivers side) has gone again ...

99% certain, the same type of knock as before, same location "behind" dash !) , only occurs when fully hot, can hear over rough/uneven surface with engine off, and the same "rattle/knock" when you turn the engine off.

Not as bad as before, that said though, it's only just started in the past week or so, whereas the other one got worse as I had to wait for appointments etc... a little longer than would have been ideal. As opposed to waiting 'till they have a loan car, I'll just wait while they change it.

The new mount (which cured the problem before) has only been in 1800 miles.

Strange thing is, as far as I can tell (in dark with torch) it's not leaking, that said, neither did the first, and dealer def. confirmed it was the mount using their acoustic gear, + changing it fixed the problem.

Booked in for Weds, a while-you-wait appointment so they can diagnose - they just hopefully a case of re-booking to have it swapped, if they haven't got one in, which I doubt.

It's driving me mad as it's constant at idle and although fairly quiet is standing out like a sore thumb to me.

Going to Mini in Hungerford, they give excellent service.
