Creaking Windows/door Seals.

Went for a drive round the block with a MINI technician from my local dealership today so he could listen to the creaking noise coming from the front windows(only does it in warm,fine weather perfect in wet weather).
He agreed that the glass needed adjusting and also said he was going to order and fit new door seals.
Just had alook at the seals and seems like a tricky job to re fit them.Has any MINI owners had any seals re newed-any idea how long it takes,is it a straight forward job?.

They shouldn't need to order door seals. I had the same sound from my windows when I first got my MINI. I brought some Autoglym Silicone Spray and made sure I sprayed it round the seals everytime I cleaned the car. This seemed to solve the problem.

Invested £4-42 in a tin of the silicone spray amd tried it out-I am glad to say the result was instant peace and quiet from the windows and seals.No more turning the CD volume up to drown out the creaking noise.Will monitor the situation over the coming weeks and hopefully cancel the seal change job.
