Just got a 2002 Cooper S and had a few problems......
On top of these it now seems as if the bonnet retention on the passenger side is not working correctly. The drivers side works fine and holds the bonnet down but the passenger side doesn't seem to be doing anything. The catch works to lift the bonnet up but the it doesn't lock down/sit correctly.
My local dealer have quoted £ 250 to fix!! I was hoping it's a DIY task? The cable does look like it's quite difficult to access though..........
