Bonnet / Rear Windscreen Washer / Water in Boot / Steam from Radiator

I was just wondering if anybody had any experience of the following:-

I have just had to replace my Fan housing with a relay on or something like that as the fan kept sticking on, also the front windscreen wipers had stopped working so I had to replace the motor as well. So that was the best past of £600.

I have done another 1K miles and now I have the following wrong:-

1. The bonnet will not shut correctly - the drivers side stays up - hence the bonnet open light is on. You can give it a really good slam - but I'm scared I may break something.

2. Water is leaking into the boot - a small lake keeps appearing around the battery.

3. I seem to have a slow puncture with a newly put on rear tyre - what could this be - as the rim of the trye doesn't look damaged.

4. The rear windsreen washer has stopped working.

5. Steam seems to be rising from the front right of the radiator as I look at the engine bay and there are gurgling noises coming from the water reservoir when the car is at rest after use. I had to top up with aboput a pint of water/anti freeze the other day. My garage have quoted me £380 to fit a new radiator including parts, labout and VAT. Assuming this is the problem - does this seem reasonable ? The radiator was £184 of this. Can I but my radiator and get them to fit it ? How much would this cost ?

The Car is an '02' Cooper S
I think I'm going to cry as I am hemmoraging money faster than I cry :-(

Rear washer stopped working

This is an old thread but wanted to ask if you ever found out what the problem was with the rear washer?

Mine stopped working last week. All i can hear is the noise of the pump but no water comes out. Filled up the water tank but still doesn't work. Front spray for windscreen and xenons work fine.

Can anyone help? Car is under warranty so will take it in but wondered if anyone knows what might be wrong?

Thanks

We had this on one of our MINIs, basically the rear jet was (badly) clogged, and had to be pulled apart and cleaned out, was then fine. DIY job.

sounds like your radiator is bust, if you ring mini matt, they have brand ones for around £130, and take it to a mini specialist, im going to lohen and they charge around £55 labour per hour. not sure on the other problems.
