Rear Window Washer Not Working

Hi, i was out in my One the other day and i noticed my rear window washer doesnt work, i can hear the motor but no fluid is coming out. The windscreen washers still work. Has anyone else had this problem? and how did you fix it?

I was thinking of putting some Cilit Bang or something similar, meant to be good at clearing drains?!

Have you tried cleaning the nozzle?

I've got exactly the same problem!!! Washer fluid levels are all topped up, nozzle is clear, but no fluid comes out despite the washer motor still making a noise. I can't work out how to unblock it. Have tried putting a pin down the nozzle but its clear.

Mine did this recently. I just kept using a needle to unblock it and eventually it freed up whatever was blocking it.

The rear-end of the MINI tends to get very dirty, so I'm not surprised dirt gets in there.

Good luck.

mine was kindly replaced with goodwill last time it was in the dealers as Mini don't cover blocked washer jets!

if you know how to get it off then take it off and try leaving it over night in some limescale descaler. It can get blocked up with limescale especially if ure in a hard water area!

Also try making sure that none of the washer fluid lines are all still connected. sometimes if ypu try using washer jets when frozen up it can cause the fluid lines to pop off any connectors. Happened quite a bit in my old car much to my annoyance!

Mine has done this twice. Each time the dealer has sorted it with no problem and it is usually just a bit of dirt blocking the line, probably because I drive past T5 construction everyday!

Good luck

yeah I've just had the same issue sorted on mine by the dealer, it was just a blockage in the pipe somewhere, but they also replaced the nozzle etc for me being the kind souls that they are......
