I have a CVT tranny and based on the discussions of early failures with this unit, I thought it would be nice to change th efluid regularly to try to keep it working longer. Is this something that can be done at home? Does anyone know how to do it?
I don't know how to do it, but my dealer did replace the CVT tranny oil, at my request, when the car had 25K miles. It was covered by the 3 year scheduled maintenance program.
Right now the car has 43K miles ('02 MC) and its working like a champ.
