Boot Light

The light in the boot of my 02 MC seems to be on all the time. I took the parcel shelf off and put the seats down to fit more things in the back, shut the boot, and the light was still on. Checked it a few times and it doesnt seem to ever go off. Is this normal?

Thanks

Dan

Sorry I'm late
If you didn't already fix this, and your battery isn't already flat, then I would remove the bulb (if you didn't already).

Been thinking about that! My battery is luckily not already flat, and fortunately never has been Im guessing this small light doesnt draw much current. Although I do drive my car every single day so maybe I just havent given it enough time to drain the battery completely.

Off to spain next week monday till friday so I think the bulb is going to have to comne out so I dont kill the battery. Im still a little unsure what might be causing this though
