Angry Sticking window - now BROKEN TRIM!!!!

Hi,

Every now and again the driver's side window on our 04 plate Cooper has been a little bit reluctant to come down or made a squeeking noise.

Now I thought this was just because it hadn't been used for a while each time, but when my missus used it today it initially stuck, then shot down making a cracking noise!

Then as she drove along bits of plastic off the edge of the A pillar trim were blown into the car.

So, has anyone else had this happen or know the cause? I do know the window regulator or motor has been changed under warranty before we got the car so maybe it wasn't aligned correctly?

Do you think I can get the trim replaced under warranty and the window adjusted - the warranty runs out on the 18th June!

Cheers.

Anyone?!

A friend tells we the a-pillar trim just clips on ond off so shouldn't be too easy to change, but anyone else had this problem?

I would imagine you should be able to get that sorted under warranty
