whistling on passenger side i have just took delivery of my 2003 mcs and i have now had it for a couple of days and have notived a whistling/tapping noise coming from the passenger side, i dont have my window down and can still hear it, its annoying because i can really hear it at low speeds(10-40mph), not sure if its coming from the feul filler cap, (air rushing past it)or somewhere else, had a look for loose bits around the outside of the car and cant think of anything else to do please help as it is really bugging me. |

look at the windows. mine did the same thing. the small text in the bottom corner, if one is lower then the other; with both doors closed its is the window. IF SO: take off the trim at the base of the window and pull up on the window. solved my problem. |

| Hi, I think I may know the whistling you are talking of... Try changing your air con controls to allow air to recycle inside the cabin rather than allowing outside air into the car while you are driving, this may stop the whistle... If that works, the air con miro filter may possibly need changing... Mine has done this off and on, but after servicing seems to disappear as they replace the micro filter... 2005 MCS "I'll have a MINI Cooper S with the works and a large coke thanks" |
