More rattles....

[Cobby Park Lane]

Ive had my park lane for almost a year now, but some rattle and things are getting anoying....

Below is a list of faults going in with the car next time..... if anyone can shed more light that would be great.

Door window seals – causing stripy front windows.

Agreed under warranty last time the mini came in to have the seat belt looked at. Parts should now be in stock.

Exhaust Rattle

Not blowing as first suspected, diagnosed by Stapleton's when doing tyres as exhaust trim being loose, please look at. Dealer fitted accessory.

Fix centre of dash

not correctly re-assembled after speedo was removed. Now has gaps, intermittent rattles and two screw holes in it.

'Whine' from drive belt

Attempted fix last time, was told alternator out of line. On collection, no-noise.

Noise returned within a day of normal driving.

Suspected to be a 'glazed' poly 'V' belt. Shouldn't this have been replaced as part of the Inspection one service? Please look at.

Passenger side Wing Mirror rattles when door closed.

Sounds like the chrome trim rattling, Is this normal? The drivers side does not do it. What can be done? Original Parts. (damage noted to mounting, was bought like this from mini cherished, surely this should have been done pre me collecting it?)

“rattle” / “buzz” from low on passenger door.

Buzz seems to emanate from around the main speaker ring at the bottom of the door. If the door trim and speaker ring are held firm the buzz stops.

“rattle” from around door handle area on drivers door.

Little rattle. Very annoying if stereo switched off!
