'02 R50 Cooper - ABS + Tire pressure warning lights on

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me diagnose this problem:

I have a 5 year old '02 R50 Cooper CVT with 42K miles. In the past month or so, the ABS and Tire pressure warning lights have come up while driving. This happened again this afternoon on the way home from work. Checked all 4 tire pressures and they are OK. This car does not have runflats tires. It has 195/60/R15 Continental radial tires on 15" 8-spoke wheels. The car does not have ASC or DSC either.

So, has anyone experiened this problem? Could it be a bad sensor? ABS/Tire pressure control module about to go dead?

I am out of warranty, so I know this will be the first out of pocket repair I will have on this MINI.

Most likely the Pulse Generator (ABS Sensor) ...

Thanks MINIAC. I dropped off the car early this morning with my friend mechanic (He has owned 3 MINIs as well) and he will work on it, along with other maintenance related items and fitting a new set of tires.

I will update this thread as soon as I hear from him....
