Hi Alll, Root Ginger the tool did work for me. The codes were :-

02 & 50showing voltage missing on Drivers Per tensioner.

The light has been off now for a couple of days so fingers crossed. I'm in the Malvern Worcestershire area if any would like to use the tool.

This is the link to the manufaturer where you can download the manual.

Mine was supplier by a guy who trades on ebay, but does not seem to be selling any at the present.. I don't want to give out his eamil address, but if anyone would like to buy one then I could contact him and see if he is getting anymore and pass on your address.

That's excellent! The link is missing BTW.

It seems to be OK now. If not go to the home page and look for latest products.

I think we need a B200 thread and record our collective experiences using it to correct various problems. Airbag light on here and without the codes I am sure it is driver seat wiring loom problem.

What did it cost you on ebay if you don't mind me asking.

Ordered mine for US$ 89.99 and 22 to ship from:
OBDToolStore

If it works it will pay for itself on first use .

£60 inc the postage. It's a shame all it does is airbags and the price I paid is slightly higher than one reset at a garage. Considering my last reset lasted about a week I'm sure it will pay for itself especially if I charge a nominal fee for others to use it. I'm sure people would jump at the chance of an airbag light reset for a fiver.

Mine cost £53 with the postage. Stealer wanted £61 to reset the light, 1/2 hours labour!

I'm more than will to allow other to use it for a nominal fee I thouht £10 would be a fair charge but....

I will contact my supplier and see if he has any more for sale. I don't want to give out his email address on a public place, but If he has some for sale I will happlier pass on any enquires to him.

Hi root ginger if you go to the website you can download the manual in advance if you wish. It's very simple to use, plug in display codes. look them up in the tables, scanagain, then scroll down to clear function an press enter.

It's nice to have the tool so that you can reset the light as soon as possible, and not have to wait for the dealer to have an appointment, thereby ensuring that the airbag system is active.

Thumbs up well done

great to see you guys getting this sorted; Mini UK keep denying theres a problem but clear there is and glad stealers are not profitting from it :}}

with tlc expiring & non franchises doing servicing, its interesting time

if they make / fix cars right first time so the dealer techs dont spend waste time they'd not have jobs - ooh free market economy - love it

Received my B200 today 5 days from HK to Canada not bad. Hooked it up and it showed Table 10 code 03 Firing circuit, belt tensioner, passenger side. Did reset started car and 2 seconds later light on again.

Dug out flashlight and checked wiring under seat, mucked with one connector seemed to be incorrectly seated. Reset the system for second time and light was out. Not convinced had to bribe wife with stop for ice cream to take a short trip with me, 30K later no light.

Happy with B200 tool here
