Manual aircon amber light failed

Hi
I've done some searching, but can't find any answers to this one.

The right hand half of the manual aircon/fan panel no longer illuminates. I know it's just a loose cable/connector, as when I gave the pillar a whack it would come back on for a while.

Has anyone done any instructions for dismantling this part? I've previously replaced the stereo, so I'm happy with dismantling and removing the two downpipes.

Thanks

Oli

Thanks for that. It contained a vital piece of information that I needed.

I've dismantled the whole unit and tested the bulb -- it's blown.

I need to get the bulb (R509T Dashboard Bulbs 12V 1.2W (black) :: Dashboard & Panel Bulbs 12V :: Autobulbs Direct Ltd - Xenon bulbs, car bulbs, wiper blades, headlight, Osram, Ring, Philips) and will then do a full write-up with photos.

It's been incredibly fiddly, but if it all goes back together it'll be most satisfying.

How many MINI technicians does it take to change a lightbulb?

Oli
