Rattle from the flexible joint on the exhaust manifold – MCS 2003

Hi,

My MINI Cooper S (2003) has developed a rattle which is coming from the flexible joint at the bottom of the exhaust manifold.

I have been told that this item can not be repaired and the only solution is to replace the whole exhaust manifold.

Can anyone offer any other ideas / solutions?

Hi,

Is the exhaust actually loose on yours?, i have a rattly exhaust too but it appears one of the stirrups is broken, this should be replaceable though

We have used ones in stock which we can supply only or supply an fit, we're just off the A1 near St Neots.

When you say you have used ones... do you mean used manifolds or just the flexible joint......
