| Umm had that that issue myself but it was the tyres, might sound daft have you checked your pressures on the tyres, sounds like it could be a stuck calliper any excessive brake dust on the alloy ?? best if you get it checked out just for piece of mind. |

| Try handbrake on, gear lever in neutral and jack up the front left. Than see if the wheel rotates freely.
The earlier suggestion regarding the tyres could be applicable if you have a tyre with very little pressure in (not as noticable with run flats) In any case being next to the wheel and rotating it should help to localise the source of the sound if it really is coming from the front left wheel area. Hope you get to the bottom of it (I always find mysterious noises frustrating) Mini: Drive and feel alive. |

| Hi sorry to hear your trouble but as i have the same problem its the clutch wearing out. im getting my replaced at the end of the month....do shop around as these things can be expensive!!! my car is an 02 Cooper S with 45k miles. |
